Our founder was nominated for the prestigious 2025 Women Changing The World Global Awards! This recognition is a powerful validation of the tireless efforts and dedication of our organization in empowering African women in STEM fields.

The excitement did not stop at the nomination. In a turn of events that our founder described as “even better,” she was chosen as a finalist for the Rising Star of the Year award category.
Reflecting on this achievement, she shared:
“Can you believe it gets even betterā¦ I have been chosen as a finalist for the 2025 Women Changing The World Global Awards in the Rising Star of the Year award category. Earlier this morning, I was on a call with other finalists – Bold changemakers from all over the world. And I kept thinking… ‘How incredible it is that I am here.‘”

The 2025 Women Changing The World Global Awards
The Women Changing The World Global Awards is part of a larger event, the 2025 Global Summit & Awards, to be held in London on April 2-3, 2025. This world-leading event for changemakers and trailblazers will feature award-winning speakers, including Oprah’s all-time favorite guest, Dr. Tererai Trent.
The summit aims to connect diverse female leaders united by their passion and commitment to creating meaningful differences in the world. It is a space where, “women come together with a collective intention to create magic.”
